My apologies for not posting as often as I would have liked apart from being lazy I was working, slowly I may add on other stuff. In my last post I wrote about “Public Domain” but this post is about another subject. As for the Public Domain I have purchased a book that was published in the 1890′s and intend to remove the plates and sell on ebay. Public Domain Treasure Hunters

I have not long bought this product and am now on the verge of buying my first book very soon so I will be back to let you know how I got on.

Why am I asking “Am I Taking On Too Much” and what do I mean by it. Let me explain. I’ll go back to about September last year. I joined John Thornhills Masterclass. It’s a 36 week course that on completion you should be online selling your own products. I followed the course diligently for the first 11 weeks and then had to postpone due to lack of funds. I had arranged to have reduced payments which I was impressed with. Incidentally Week 11 is the start of product creation week and that’s when I thought, “I can’t do this” but left it at that. I knew I would have to do it eventually.

In the coming months I was downloading Free stuff, purchasing things that I could afford and downloading more stuff, pdf’s, reports etc. Each month I get Free Websites on different subjects but have only one site online. In reality each site should be edited but something I’m not sure if I have the time or it’s too much of a task. Something else that’s wrong with me….lack of patience, something I will have to address. I think that when I sell my first product it will help me on my way.

Other products I have either paid for or received for nothing. One Month Mentor is another product I am working on. I’m on Week 18  at the moment and again at a standstill for a wee time, finishing my product before I move on. Oh! Didn’t I mention, I did start a product and it’s near completion.

Another product is Affiliate Promo Formula, this product for those of you out there who are into Affiliate Marketing, worth a look. I must say at this moment all the products are from John Thornhill or John and one of his JV partners. You can see I follow John quite a lot and some of his students and JV partners. With so much spam and rip off merchants on the net it’s good to know someone you can trust.

The next product Clickbank Ad Rotator, speaks for itself, read the sales page. I then moved on to Clickbank Affiliate Master, again speaks for itself. Some of these products I have received for free for purchasing other products. Some of them I wouldn’t have been able to afford initially and come sin extremely handy for my sites.

Next time to move onto USFreeads. An excellent site for advertising, even free ads, but for $9.99 per month you get a lot more for your money.

What I’m trying to say is, I have been going from pillar to post and not concentrating on the job in hand. There are more products that I haven’t mentioned, no point at this moment. I bought a diary at the beginning of the year to help me keep things in check,I haven’t used it since February so that didn’t work.

So, after I come back from my holidays, things will have to change. Stick to one thing at a time.

How often did you hate your boss for making you stick to a schedule, but he was right. You can use that experience in you Marketing business. You need a schedule, so you have to make the most of it. When are you at your best, morning, luchtime or evening. Wheneve rit is that is the best time to schedule your Marketing activities.

Let’s say you get a lot of visitors from articles and your bets time of the day is the morning, that’s the time to concentrate on your article submissions. “Using your time wisely”, I think that’s what you call it. There are people who don’t use their time wisely, I used to be one. Once you get into a routine you’re made.

Let’s say you work from 9am to 4pm, 5 days a week. Remember, you have to work your spare hours sparingly so that you are not knackered the following day. You need to schedule the hours so that you so that you get to your bed for enough sleep. That’ll keep you from being totally wiped out the next day. So if you finish at 4pm you could, for example use about 2 to 3 hours concentrating on your business and still have a life to chill out.

Success will not happen overnight, so don’t rush things. A couple  of hours per night and more at the weekend will, eventually, make you more successful. You will then realise as you get more successful you will not have to worry about your beauty sleep because you can get up when you like, work when you like. But, until then, stick to your schedule.

I am nearly finished my first product. I still have quite a bit to do. I need a name, I need graphics. It’s quite exciting and cannot wait until I get it on Clickbank. That will be a few weeks away, unfortunately but that’s the way I’m afraid. I have sent my final draft to a couple of people and awaiting their reply. I am quietly confident that things will be OK. This why I think it’s imperative that if you are not sure where you are in your marketing business you should go for a Mentor. It saves you doing a lot of research and learning when it’s all on for you on video. You can save yourself a lot of time and money and energy. At the same time you are learning as you go along. After you finish your first product you rinse and repeat the process. You will soon be having tons of your own profits on Clickbank.

I’m back. The last few weeks I have been sourscing and producing a product. The product is to do with Internet Marketing, more for new starts than anything else. Due to my everyday J.O.B. I have little time. I do as much as I can although I could do more. Even though it’s a 31 day course doesn’t mean you have to do it in 31 days. Remember, take your time. Don’t rush things. Watch the videos and follow John. If it’s going to take a lot longer, then fine. What you want at the end of the day is to get your first product on Clickbank or whatever way you want to promote it. Again, once you finish your first product and it’s selling, you start your next project. After a while you can set them up willy nilly and you’ll soon be an expert.

Going back, Day 12, which was a video on How To Conduct you research for your niche. Basically, decide on your niche and then research using Clickbank, eBay, Amazon and Google. You’l  find all the info required. Day 13 was How To Resource your products. You can go to the WSO section of the Warrior Forum, PLR Monthly  and two Resell Rights sites I use, Resell Rights Weekly and Resell Rights Fortune. You will find heaps of information. Source what you need and you’re on your way. Days 14, 15 and 16 is all to do with Product Creation, from downloading software you may need like Open Office, or Word to Graphics etc. They are all very informational videos and will take you forward quite a lot, you’ll be surprised how well you’ll get on.

Day 17, is How To Improve Your Product. This is about adding value, audio, recording video and producing video. To be honest I haven’t done the video thingy yet, I keep meaning to but I haven’t got the guts yet. I need to practice a couple of times first…lol. Once you have sussed these videos you go onto Day 18 which is preparing for Sales Page Creation. You will download a HTML Editor, a Salesletter and learn basic HTML skills. Day 19 is Initial Sales Page Creation. This entails preparing paage for editing, edit fonts, change images and edit and example Sales page.

Sorry I haven’t posted in over a month. I had a bereavement on the 14th April and didn’t bother posting. I will add a post regarding One Month Mentor soon. I am still finishing my product. It’s nearly finished and I’m looking forward to getting it out into the big wide world. That is the reason I haven’t posted. I should have finished it by now but there are other things to be done, plus I could have spent more time on it. I’m even going to attempt a video, see where that takes me. Folks, bear with me and I hope that one day if you purchase this product you will benefit. Remember, once you finish your first product it’s a matter of repeating the process, wash, rinse, repeat.

I am back for a quick recap on my last couple of days. Since my last post I have done a number of things. Day 6 was about sediting the sidebar. I removed adsense and replaced with a different type of  advert. It was a product of Lee McIntyre. I’m sure you have heard of Lee. Another successful Marketer.  I enjoyed doing that, now the advert looks better than adsense ads. Day 6 also had videos on how edit edsense, adsense update, add video, add custom widgets. Custom widgets is adding Twitter and Facebook among others. That will be very handy for when your up and running. One of the most important videos on Day 6 was backing up your blog. It’s very important to back up. Should anything out of the ordinary happen and you lose your blog, at least if you have a back you are safe.

Another thing I did was use Clickbank Ad Rotator. If you have been refused Google Adsense or you don’t want to use Adsense you can use the Ad Roataor. It’s another product by John Thornhill and Dave Nicholson. The good thing about these  adverts you are allowed to click on them unlike Google Adsense. You will find out about all this in the videos. By the time you reach this stage you will have banner ads and clickbank ads on your blog.

Moving on the next 3 videos are about Niche selection and product creation. This is where you have to put some work into and there will be a lot of research to find your Niche and prepare for product creation. That’s it for now, I will be back at some point.

I have now finished Day 4 of One Month Mentor. Yes, Day 4 and I only got the course 2 days ago. You can see the progress I have made in 2 days. If you are confident enough to move on you can. however, I did encounter a problem. My Google adverts haven’t appeared on my site. There could be a couple of reasons for that. Could be Google, but that’s unlikely. I have had Google ads on my other sites so I don’t think it’s that. It could be that I didn’t enter my pub code properly into my themes properly. In the last but one video, John mentions when you highlight stuff don’t highlight spaces. I had never heard of that before, so there you go.

Day 5 is next, “The Completed Blog”. That’s all to do with uploading the graphics you purchased and a few other things to boot. I’m leaving Day 5 till later on in the course. I haven’t decided on my header yet and I don’t want to rush anything so I’ll be moving onto to Day 6 which is Advanced Blogging. This is to do with editing your sidebar, removing adsense.Funny is it not, here’s me saying I haven’t got Adsense then I’m on about removing. It will make sense to you, trust  me. You will also be adding widgets, adding video and so on.

By now you will be getting more and more excited and you will see progress. See how much has been done,up to Day 5 done in 2 days. You’ve gone from getting e mail and hosting to starting a blog from scratch, inputting content getting graphics etc. I will be back in the next few days. I have to watch that I don’t neglect my other blog, Donald MacLeod so I will be working on that one in the next couple of days.

I’ve moved away from One Month Mentor for the moment. I will be leaving day 4 untill later on. This post is about Johns Masterclass Programme. I joined up at about September last year. I can tell you that I knew quite a bit about Internet Marketing. However, I always got bogged down in certain areas. For example, Aweber, I just could not fathom it out. Initally, I would get so far and gave up. I would try again the next day. I did install an opt in form and followed Johns instructions on how to create a list but I was getting confused. I tried to start another list using Johns method and I couldn’t get it to work.

I had an eBook & Software site for over 2 years. It was only last week I sussed out how to put details into the opt in form through my settings. How many possible subscribers did I lose, I reckon at 50 or 60. I used to get an e mail and they were blank with the exception of  a name a nd e mail category but nothing else. This site has got plenty of info on eBooks and software.

I’ve digressed a little bit. Going back to the Masterclass, would you like to succeed online? Would you like to give up the day J.O.B. and have an online business? Could you do it on your own? Would you like a mentor?Well, let me say something to you. If you have any doubts whatsoever and you’re unsure I would recommend that you don’t go on your own. I have tried for at least 11 years and I’m still in full time employment. I spent hundreds of $$$$$$ and got nowhere. Trust me I was buying products and filling my Hard Drive with all sorts of products Plr products, you name it. I eventually came across John Thornhill,  a very experienced Marketer and successful, I may add. I have bought quite a lot of products from John to teach me to further myself. I am making slow progress and in the last 2 months have improved dramatically. I have had a habit of not bothering or jumping from pillar to post. I am in Johns Masterclass and his recent product One Month Mentor.
