Still On One Month Mentor.

I am still watching the videos from John and following what he is doing. Remember, just because it’s a 31 day course doesn’t mean you have to do a days worth every day. If yoy have time and you are confident of carrying on, do so. I’m working on Day 4 and it’s my second day at it. There might be days you cannot do anything whether it’s due to work or you are on vacation. It might take you 60 days to finish the course. Do what you feel you can do. I am also in Johns Masterclass programme. that course is 36 weeks long and it can take longer. It’s more intense. I am doing two of Johns courses at the same time and believe me I have found things in this course that I missed in the Masterclass, so yes, there is an advantage. For example in my other blog, Donald MacLeod I was putting all my posts into categories, but I didn’t have my widget placed in my sidebar so that was a waste of time. I will correct that in due course.

By the way, John is doing a months trial of $4.95 for his Masterclass. Going back to One Month Mentor, you can have a business online in 31 days, if you can achieve that you are really doing well. If you go to the One Month Mentor Blog you will be able to see case studies. Students who have already completed the 31 day course and have a product online, probably selling as we speak.

Going back to todays videos. Today write 5 posts of 250 words or more register for Google adsense and order graphics. Soon you will see your blog improve.

One Mentor Monthly

I am working on John Thornhills One Monthly Mentor. A 31 day course on getting you up and running on an on line business. Each day you watch a video and follow John.  After 31 days you should be up and running. Day 1 is about Set up email & hosting all the way to Day 30 which is about commenting on blogs and forums. Day 31 is Wash, Rinse and Repeat.

At the moment I am on Day 3 and enjoying every minute. I have already built a blog using John Thornhills methods. I still need to watch the videos, there are things you forget especially me, I get ever so forgetful.

I’ll keep posting about my progress and let you know how I’m getting on. Remember, you don’t need to be an expert to do this. If you can use a keyboard, a mouse and have access to the Internet you’re ready to go. Here’s where I am at the moment:

Day 1: Set up an email and hosting. First thing you need to do is register for hosting, I use D9 Hosting. I use them for hosting and purchasing my domain names. There are plenty other ones out there if you choose to do so. Everything is shown on the video. There are 5 videos to watch on Day1, everything you need for setting up e mail and hosting.

Day 2: Is all about Initial Blog Creation. There are 8 videos to watch. This is when it starts to get exciting. You set up an account with Clickbank, You install WordPress, add links and categories etc etc. You will enjoy Day 2, in fact as the days go on you will get even more excited.

Day 3: Blog Creation continued. You write 5 posts, about anything. If you’re unsure write about Johns programme like I am doing, write about your favourite websites. Make sure you write 5 posts. Write about 250+ words. Day 3 you will also sign up with Google adsense and order blog graphics. That’s it folks, I will be back with more for day 4.
